Helping Jorah fight cancer
Donation protected
*UPDATE*
On November 14th, Jorah had the surgery to remove his kidney along with the tumour. There ended up being cancer cells as well, in the fatty tissues around the kidney. Because of this he has been diagnosed with stage 2 cancer. Jorah has a high survival rate but does need to undergo 6 more months of Chemotherapy treatment to finish clearing the cancer cells from his body.
Over the course of the next 6 months there will be numerous trips to Calgary for routine testing and treatments. The family income has now been cut in half as Melanie is staying at home to care for him. Thank you all for your continued support and please continue to keep Jorah and his family in your thoughts and prayers ❤️
Hi, my name is Connie…
My sweet little 4 year old nephew Jorah has just been diagnosed with Wilms Tumor, which is a type of kidney cancer. Jorah has a very long road ahead of him with chemo treatments followed by surgery. Along with this comes the financial struggle for weekly trips to Calgary from Lethbridge including fuel, meals, accommodations, etc.. Melanie, Justin and their son Abel need all the help they can get so they can be by Jorah’s side for every step of this journey. Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated!
