I didn't think that this would be something I'd ever have to experience, but on Sept 5th my home in Peterborough, Ontario was destroyed in a fire. Very quickly everything I owned (clothes, furniture, all personal belongings and keepsakes) were gone. While I’m incredibly grateful that I made it out safely, but the reality of starting over from nothing is overwhelming.

Losing a home is something no one can ever truly prepare for and I'm beginning to face the mountainous task of starting over. This fundraiser will go directly toward essentials like housing, clothing, food, and eventually working toward furnishing a new place to call home. Rebuilding a home and a life takes time, and I know I can’t do it alone.
