Helping our dad with Dawn’s funeral

On December 25, 2022 - we recieved a call from our Dad, John Willen. It was a call that no one should ever have to make, especially on Christmas. Through the devastation in his voice he had informed us that our step-mother Dawn had passed away in her sleep. She had just returned home from being in the hospital. Her health wasn’t the greatest and although she passed peacefully in her sleep, this was very unexpected.

With her 60th birthday being December 27th, our dad is completely crushed, as well as her friends and family. She also left behind two sons Myles and Kyle. As well as a beloved grandchild Brennon.

Dad had been taking care of her for years since she was unable to work. At times he would work multiple jobs to make ends meet. Still to this day, long hours with little to no sleep. On top of all this, his mother, with her health, is also a concern of his. So the stress of the funeral, medical bills and what’s to come is unbearable.

Unfortunately, she did not have life insurance so the purpose of this GoFundMe is to help with Funeral expenses, medical bills and lost time from work for our dad as he continues to process this, mourn and collect his thoughts.

For anyone who knows John, he isn't the type of person to ask for help. So we are here on his behalf. If you are able to donate anything, it would help tremendously and more than you know. All funds will go to our Dad to help him get back on his feet.
