Helping John on his recovery

Donation protected
On Feb 24, John suffered a major stroke. His co-workers and EMTs were very quick to respond and get him to the hospital. John’s stroke was a result of 2 blood clots and ruptured blood vessels in his brain. John underwent a second emergency surgery to reduce the swelling of his brain which placed him in a very critical state. Doctors with the help of God were able to get him through this very critical state. After several days in ICU John regained consciousness. Doctors realized that John stroke was severe as he lost the ability to talk and walk with no current functionality on his right side. John has been transferred to an inpatient rehabilitation facility in Mount Dora where he will spend the next few months undergoing intense therapy to help him recover. His recovery will be a long road but keeping hopeful that with the help of the physical therapy staff, doctors, family, friends and with God's blessing John will pull through it.

This has been very hard emotionally for his wife and 3 kids, and we have high hopes for him recovering to the best of his body's ability. We want to raise these funds to alleviate the monetary burden that is increasing on his family due to medical bills and prepare for the near future to be able to take care of him with medical accommodations that John will need when returns home, such as entrance ramp, medical bed, lifting equipment, wheelchair, walker, and disability bathroom equipment.

We are all praying for John and his family and ask you all to keep them in your prayers too. We are looking forward to seeing & hearing our "Guess who?" guy back again as our hearts are heavy with all of this as John has touched so many lives with his love, friendship, support and especially his humor towards others. Any assistance would be amazing, needed and most appreciated.
