On the evening of August 6th, 2020 John was on his way home after serving the community of Decatur, Tx as a State Licensed Hearing Specialist. He was struck by an oncoming car while riding his motorcycle on FM 2449 and Robinson in the town of Ponder, Texas. After much help and prayers by the good Samaritans of Ponder and a lot of work by first responders John was airlifted to Medical City Denton Hospital and admitted into the ICU. He has undergone six surgeries thus far and more yet to be determined. John has regained consciousness but is still fighting in this long, hard battle to recovery. John is a proud Army Veteran and worked in the early years on the Patriot Missile Defense System. He was also present during the only time a Space Shuttle Mission landed at White Sands Missile Range New Mexico.John is a single father and soul provider of two teenage daughters. John is a loving son, father, brother, cousin and friend to many.
John’s family is asking for help with mounting medical bills that are still accumulating by the hour.
