Helping Joey find her feet

Hi everyone, we are fundraising for our sister Johanna, who tragically lost all of her belongings in a house fire. An electrical fault occurred at the property she was renting and a fire started while she was asleep. She was incredibly lucky to make it out alive, but has nothing more than the clothes she was wearing. Sadly, she has also lost her beloved pets who died in the fire along with every single possession. Unfortunately, her personal contents were uninsured at the time of the fire. She is such a kind and caring person who is always there for everyone else. She has dedicated her life to supporting others through her work as a support unit teacher and her volunteer work rescuing abandoned animals. She pours her whole heart into making the community a better place and I ask that you help me to support her at this time by donating. Any amount would help. We need to replace all her clothes, shoes, furniture, kitchenware and teaching resources that support her students with complex additional needs.

Johanna’s situation is particularly difficult as she experiences Autism and has lost all of the belongings which brought her comfort and helped her to regulate. She was also enjoying the freedom and independence of living alone for the first time which she will miss whilst staying with friends in the wake of this tragedy.
