This fundraiser is being started for Jodi Miranda who I met three years ago through our GS Troop.
Jodi is the type of person who gives 150% to everything she does. She passionately serves the community as a Lactation Consultant for new moms, is incredibly connected to the local home school community and MOPS, and volunteers through Girl Scouts.
Two weeks ago, while traveling out of town, her husband Jorge unexpectantly became very ill. After many interventions and surgery, he succumbed to his illness due to other complications and infection. Jorge passed away peacefully last Friday morning.
Anyone who knew Jorge will remember his smile and his laugh. He was a kind soul and will be missed dearly, but will especially be missed by Jodi and his children. This will be a long process for all of them as they navigate life without Jorge. A Celebration of Life will be planned in the future.
