Message written by Jimmy (Jim) ~ I had my bladder cancer reviewed and once again going through the pre-op prep process. I need a second procedure/surgery. It was earlier today (3.17.2021). I'm not Irish & don't feel lucky. I'm 1/2 German, 1/4 Danish & 1/4 Czech & PROUD OF IT!
My sister, Sheila Lietzke and girlfriend Monia brought me to the hospital and extended their support. I have been blessed with a lot of greatness in my life as well as a lot of struggles. I have learned greatly from BOTH! As of now, I'm going through one of the hardest moments in my life. My bladder cancer has grown back in just 6 short months. The love of my life will be by my side ~ Love & support means so much!
Due to my condition unfortunately, I can't work and we are limited to one income again. I don't know the future right now only God knows. I am reaching out to friends/family at this time of need for prayers & support. THANK YOU EVERYONE & God Bless!
Added details by "Big Sister" Sheila ~ Currently we are awaiting Jimmy's prognosis. We already know he has bladder cancer and thus far has grown back in 6 short months. The Doctors' want to start him on HCN inhibitor (for a month) = Described method can be useful for reducing tumor size, putting cancer in remission, and reducing or stopping proliferation of cancer stem cells. However, we don't know how successful it will be and after a month they will need to review Radiation therapy vs Chemo if needed.
Cancer and treatments are so unpredictable! I'm creating this Gofundme for Jimmy. I CAN'T make the cancer GO AWAY! However, I hope & PRAY this effort will assist in everyday expenses (gas for car to go to his Doctor appointments), groceries, and any other basic needs to help him focus on his healing vs not working because of the cancer.
