Help Jim During a Difficult Time

Dear Friends and Family,

I am setting up this GoFundMe campaign for my dear friend Jim Robeson. Jim and I have known each other since our time in college at SUNY Purchase over 30 years ago.

As many of you may know, our sweet Jim experienced the devastating loss of his dad, which was followed by some very difficult life-threatening health challenges.

Jim had recently moved back to Brooklyn, found housing and work when soon after his dad’s health declined and Jim went back to be with him before his death on June 30. When Jim returned, he started experiencing blurry vision. It was discovered he had had a stroke on July 13. Just as he was working on the steps for after care for the stroke, he started having severe back pain and on July 24 they found out he was having a heart attack.

Through all of this, he has missed approximately a month’s worth of work so far. He has a lot more navigating through the healthcare system to get through these life hurdles.

We want to provide a financial lifeline to alleviate the stress that comes with these challenges. Also, we want to give him the time to grieve his dad’s passing without the worry of paying for some of his upcoming medical and living expenses, which we know can be overwhelming.
