On April 26th this year, Sharon Moore was diagnosed with squamous cell lung cancer. After six rounds of chemo and three rounds of radiation, Sharon has continued to fight this battle and is currently on hospice. In order to assist the family with the costs of life arrangements, medical expenses, and related things, this GoFundMe has been established.
Those that know Sharon and Jim Moore, can truly appreciate what it means to be good genuine people. Sharon is a witty fun-loving Grandma, Mom, Wife, Sister, and Aunt. She has enjoyed simple things such as shopping, hanging out by the pool, having margaritas, and playing basketball with her grandkids even into her 70s.
Sharon has worked hard through life. She spent many years working in restaurants (Don’s Alley) and at one point owned Burger Village with husband Jim. Many people also remember Sharon as the kind and always helpful worker running the register at Gregory’s Sporting Goods for 22 years.
The days and months ahead will be financially challenging for the family. There is no life insurance or end of life arrangements in place. Please consider making a donation of any amount to assist Jim, Stacie, and Tracy as they navigate this difficult time.
