Hello,
For those who know me, you know it is very hard for me to ask for help. But at this point, I have to. Many of you know I suffer from two auto-immune diseases that cause me an unusual amount of health problems. I have struggled for years to keep up with the financial burden that comes along with these health problems. My issues are becoming worse and my savings have been drained. Add the fact that COVID caused a change to my health insurance and my out of pocket responsibilities increased drastically this year.
I have two pressing health issues that must be addressed immediately. One issue is putting me at risk for choking death as well as recurring aspiration pneumonia. My specialist has stated that with every day that passes the situation is becoming more dangerous and I have a small amount of time to raise the funds for the three procedures I need to address this issue. I am also in need of surgery on my foot. My foot specialist has bought me a small amount of time before I will be unable to be weight bearing again. Pathology on the foot also indicated the need for a full biopsy to be performed as well.
Unfortunately, I must meet my out of pocket maximum in order to get the care I need. With the increase to my insurance this year it makes it so I have a very short time frame to come up with $4,000. I have been looking for other ways to help raise funds but at this point I need to ask for help. Like most Americans we live paycheck to paycheck and any savings I had is gone. Any money donated will be going directly to my medical expenses. Any amount will help. If you are able to help in any way, it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance.
