Helping Jessica after House Fire

On Monday January 8, 2018 my sister, Jessica Burge, received a devastating call from the West Allis Police Department informing her that her house was on fire. She left work and rushed to the scene to find her home completely destroyed from fire, smoke and water damage. Charred pieces of debris were scattered everywhere, holes were chopped into the roof, and windows were smashed/blown out. Her house is being classified as a total loss.
Jessica worked so hard to purchase her first home all while going to school full time and raising her 6 year old daughter. She closed on her new house November 2017, and over the last two months has been working tirelessly to make her new house a home with the help of her parents, friends and cousin Tom. Painting, refinishing hardwood floors, installing carpet, new appliances, cabinets... and the list goes on. She was only days away from completion when she received the horrific life-changing news that her home was in flames. As you can see from the pictures the fire started on the front porch. There is currently an investigation being conducted and arson is highly suspected.
Jessica has lost everything. We are hoping insurance will recoup some of the money Jessica has put into the house. She is not one to ask for help, but with so many amazing friends and family inquiring, I've decided to create this fund to help Jessica get back onto her feet and to help with immediate expenses before insurance kicks in.
