Helping Jesse Hall after a massive heart attack.

Donation protected
My name is Nicholas Piccard and I am initiating this fundraiser on behalf of my good friend, Jesse Hall, who unexpectedly suffered a major heart attack on the morning of November 6th at his home. Jesse had what is commonly referred to as a widowmaker heart attack, which is an informal term for a heart attack that involves 100 percent blockage in the left anterior descending (LAD) artery. Thankfully, Jesse’s wife(Shelly) and son(Jesse Jr.) were at home when this occurred, and they were able to administer CPR promptly while waiting for EMT’s to arrive. These actions, most certainly saved his life.

After arriving at the hospital, Jesse’s family was told that the chances of survival associated with his condition was approximately 2%. Following the initial stabilization, his chances of survival increased to 50%. Jesse is a strong man, and a fighter. But, he is not out of the woods yet. Due to the severity of the heart attack, he suffered permanent heart damage, and it is currently unknown whether or not there is potential long-term neurological damage. Jesse is currently in a medically induced coma, undergoing hypothermic therapy in hopes of preventing further organ and neurological damage. Per the medical team, at best, Jesse will have a very long road to recovery which could require a significant medical regimen such as an (LVAD) left ventricular assist device or even possibly a transplant.

For those of you that do not know Jesse… Jesse has been a lifelong Antioch resident, and a proud US Air Force Veteran. Jesse is a fantastic father to his four children (Hailey, Rylie, AJ, and Jesse Jr), and loving husband to his wife (Shelly). For anyone that has met Jesse, you know that he is one of the most generous and faithful persons you could ever meet. To a fault, Jesse would literally give the shirt off of his back to help others. We need to do all that we can during these extremely trying times to offer the same help that he would be doing for any of us.

No matter the final outcome, this tragedy will greatly impact them financially and emotionally. All funds generated from this account will be used to pay for costs associated with Jesse’s treatments, and to supplement his family’s daily living expenses. My goal is to help reduce some of the financial burdens while Jesse and his family work through this horrible time.

All contributions are greatly appreciated and will go directly to Shelly and Jesse! I know Jesse and his family sincerely appreciate it!
