Helping Jen Keegan
Donation protected
Hey friends. I've finally talked to Jen, and she's given me permission to update you about her situation.
She was trying to leave her abusive marriage, and in response, her husband physically assaulted her to the extent that she was covered in bruises and needed to be hospitalized for several days. Because she was highly dysregulated during this time, she was unable to properly defend herself to the police, and her husband was able to get a temporary restraining order against her to prevent her from returning home. So she's currently living with her niece, but she is safe and in no imminent danger from her husband.
However, because she can't return home to get any of her things, she has to rely entirely on her pregnant niece, who already lives on a limited income, so she could still use our help. If you feel so inclined, it would be greatly appreciated if you could donate what you can.
Thank you for all your help, my friends. We couldn't have done this without the emotional and informational support this community has provided, and for that, I'm extremely grateful.
