I've never done this before but figured I'd give it a try...

As some of you may have heard, my amazing wife Jennifer broke both the bones in her right leg on March 3rd. Luckily, it wasn't a compound fracture but pretty close to being so. She had an amazing team of surgeons put her back together and now she is on the long road to a healthy recovery. Racquetball is on hold and she is never roller skating again. As we deal with the mountain of medical costs we have dug into our reserves during her work hiatus. Jen is a free-lance, self-employed contractor working on various TV productions in the DFW Metroplex. Since the accident, Jen had to cancel several jobs that she was booked for. Like a lot of us, we are a dual income household so this income loss hurts a bit.
