Helping Jeff Get Back on His Feet

On Thursday October 1st my dad, Jeff was admitted to the hospital with COVID-19 and Bronchitis. He had been on high amounts of steroids and meds for the Bronchitis that were supposed to attack it hard and kick it but he had only gotten worse. By Friday he had been moved to the ICU where he was under close watch. After his oxygen went up to 100 liters per minute and his heart rate dropped below 30 bpm they were forced to put him on a ventilator and feeding tube. His kidneys were starting to fail and he had developed COVID pneumonia. On October 5th they were able to remove the ventilator and test removing the feeding tube. Dad is still struggling with his oxygen levels. 

I am starting this GoFundMe to help him with his bills and supporting the kids while he is off of work. He has already missed 3 weeks and will be looking at an additional 2-3, could be more. With bills already coming in and many more on the way including medical and many friends asking to donate and help I decided to set this up so we can help him stay on top of things. He is a single dad to my younger brother and sister and has a lot on his plate.

Dad is the most fun loving, goofy, and helpful guy we know. He always has a dad joke ready and loves bringing smiles to everyone's faces. To know him is to love him and he can make any stranger a friend. No amount is too small and every bit will go to him and the kids.
