Helping Jedda and Brett

Hi my name is Danielle and I’m Jeddas sister in law

On the 21st on June my sister in law Jedda fell Ill and was taken to Griffith base hospital via ambulance.

Jeddas condition deteriorated and she was placed into an induced coma and transferred to Wagga Wagga after a week still with an undiagnosed condition.

In Wagga After numerous tests and a surgery , Jedda was diagnosed with a rare disease called -Anti NMDA encephalitis.

Jedda remained in a coma for 4 months.

This disease is so rare that there is no,

one treatment to treat the disease and an unknown time frame for recovery.

Jedda has just in the last 2 weeks become responsive and slowly communicating with drs, nurses and loved ones

Jedda will require intense rehabilitation once the time comes which Drs still say could be months away

At this time Jedda needs her partner Brett and children Kyleera, Jacobii and Brodell to be beside her as much as possible, this means a lot of time away from work for Brett with Wagga being a 3.5 hour one way trip from their home in Lake Cargelligo this comes with financial stress with the cost of accommodation as a sole income family.

With this I ask if anyone is in a position to help financially please it would be very appreciated no matter how big or small

It is also very understandable if you are not in a position to help financially but please could you take the time to share this in hope it may reach someone who can.
