It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the heartbreaking news that Jay has passed away.

After months of an incredibly difficult and courageous fight, Jay passed away peacefully on September 8, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

T, Katie and Owen are now facing the unimaginable loss of their husband and father, and the financial need for their family is greater than ever. Donations will help T cover the immediate costs that come with losing Jay, as well as household bills, everyday expenses, and the financial responsibilities ahead while she adjusts to life without him.

As they navigate the days ahead and begin putting their lives back together, they will need the support of their family, friends and community more than ever.

If you are able to donate or share, please continue to do so. Every bit of support means so much to T and the kids right now. ❤️

***********************UPDATE***************************
Jay is still in the hospital, fighting through an incredibly difficult journey with his liver failure. At this point, he is not healthy enough to return home to Winnipeg. The hope is that, if his condition improves enough, he may eventually be stable enough to be transferred back to a Winnipeg hospital while he continues to wait for his liver transplant.

But right now, there is still no end in sight.

T remains in Toronto by Jay’s side, and the reality is that they have had to put their entire lives on hold. The expenses of being away from home for weeks at a time continue to add up — accommodation, food, transportation, and all of the unexpected costs that come with being in another province during a medical crisis.

They desperately need our help.

Every donation, no matter the amount, helps take a little bit of the financial weight off their shoulders so they can focus on what matters most: Jay getting through this and getting his transplant.

And if you aren’t able to donate, sharing their GoFundMe is just as meaningful. ❤️

Hi, we’re Steve and Lea, and we are fundraising for our dear friends, Jay and T Graveline.

UPDATE Jay and T were medically transported to Toronto last night. They are currently at Toronto General Hospital where Jay is being evaluated.

Jay will soon be travelling to Toronto with T, where he will undergo an evaluation to determine whether he is able to receive a liver transplant. This has all happened very unexpectedly, and their family is facing an incredibly difficult and uncertain time.

Jay’s autoimmune disease has caused severe damage to his liver, and he now needs a transplant to have a chance at continuing his life with his family. The next steps are still unknown. He may be waiting in Toronto for a transplant, undergoing the transplant and recovery, or, heartbreakingly, he may be sent home if a transplant is not possible.

Whatever happens, Jay and T need to be in Toronto and prepared for what comes next. The costs of travel, accommodations, food, transportation, and being away from home for an unknown amount of time will put an enormous financial strain on their family. Being self-employed, Jay is also unable to simply take time away from work without creating an additional financial burden.

Jay is an outstanding man who would do absolutely anything for his family. He is the kind of person who is always there for the people he loves, and he would never be the one to ask for help himself.

So, on behalf of myself and my family, we are asking anyone who knows and loves Jay and T to please consider helping them through this incredibly difficult time.

Whether you are able to donate, share this fundraiser, or simply keep Jay and T in your thoughts, every bit of support means more than you know.

Right now, we don’t know exactly what the road ahead will look like. We only know that Jay needs a chance, and we want to do everything we can to help give him and his family that chance.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting Jay and T during this incredibly difficult journey. ❤️
