If you know Jason, you love Jason. He lights up any room he walks into and makes everyone in his life feel special. Unfortunately, as many of you know, he went into cardiac arrest on Monday, April 22nd while at band practice (doing something he loves). He has been in the ICU for 2 weeks fighting for his life with Shawna (wife), Marina (sister), and Rita (mom) by his side. He won that fight and is now fighting to recover. Jason suffered extensive brain injury from the cardiac arrest and has a very long road ahead of him that will include long-term care and aggressive rehabilitation therapy.

To help our friend during this challenging time, I have the families blessing to start this GoFundMe to assist Jason and Shawna with their daily expenses throughout his recovery. Right now we want them to have the space to focus on healing. No contribution is too small, and every bit will help ease the burden as Jason focuses on getting back on his feet (and back on stage!).

The funds raised will go directly to Jason and Shawna to be used for medical bills, rehab and creating the space they need to heal.
