Helping Jamey's Family
Hello,
My name is Josh and I want to tell you about an amazing man, Jamey Pomeroy. I met Jamey 5 years ago while on a jobsite, Jamey worked for ADT and I for an Internet/TV provider. Jamey said he liked my work ethic and asked me for a business card. He said that if an opening came up he'd let me know (he thought that I'd be a good fit). Six months later that call came asking me to apply to ADT. Little did I know how that phone call would change my life. That call led me to one of the best friends I could have ever imagined, he became like a brother to me. I could go on and on about how Jamey impacted my life and helped my family and I get to where we are today, but, this is about Jamey and the legacy he left behind.
Now let me tell you about Jamey. Jamey turned 46 in June of this year. He was a great all around guy who loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. There was one thing that Jamey loved more than anything else on this planet that was his family. Together in 2011, Jamey and Amy adopted their 3 youngest children, expanding their family of 4 to a family of 7. Jamey was a transplant here in Alaska by way of Idaho where the majority of his family and friends still reside. Jamey served in the United States Air Force prior to working the last 7 years with ADT.
About a month ago Jamey came down with the Corona virus. Jamey's condition worsened to the point where he was admitted to the hospital. On Sunday July 18, while at the hospital in Anchorage, AK, Jamey's condition worsened. The Doctors who were diligently working to save Jamey decided that the best course of action was to place Jamey in a medically enduced coma allowing his lungs the opportunity to heal. Sadly, on Wednesday July 29th, Jamey Pomeroy lost his battle with COVID. Jamey leaves behind his loving wife Amy; His sons Jamey, Trevor and Traiden; His daughters Jaelyn and Trinity; His grandkids Addy and Lincoln. He also has huge extended family and friends that he loved dearly.
Jamey's family and friends alike are devastated by his passing. All that can be done is to live each day to its fullest and to the best of our ability. We will continue to come together and celebrate Jamey by spreading the joy and fire he brought to each of our lives.
With your donation you will be helping the Pomeroy's to do just that. All donations go straight to the family for any expenses and needs they see fit. If you can find it in your heart to donate to this wonderful family, all donations will be greatly appreciated. Feel free to share this to anyone else who had the opportunity to know Jamey.
Our love and prayers goes out to all of Jamey's friends and family. You will be missed indefinitely friend.
