Help James get a Tri-ride for his wheelchair

Hi my name is Lisa and my son's name is James. We are trying to give James the tools to become more independent by gathering funds for a Tri-ride scooter attachment for James wheelchair.
James is a 13 year old, bubbly, happy go lucky, amazing young lad. He had a traumatic start in life. He was born two weeks overdue by emergency C-section. Due to complications he suffered lack of oxygen which resulted in him being resuscitated, soon after causing seizures and septicemia. He spent 14 days on an intensive care unit in an induced coma. He was later fully diagnosed (age 2 )with 4 limb dyskinetic cerebral palsy with choreoathetosis. His dystonic movements are very similar (uncontrollable) movements as someone with progressed Parkinson's. This is controlled by and he gets relief with medication 3x a day.
He has made amazing progress in his mobility through physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, leg splints and full body pressure lycra suit. He is now able to walk short distances with a walking frame and he uses a wheelchair for long distances. James tries his best to keep active but with that comes painful muscles and fatigue. He struggles self propelling himself in his wheelchair as his hand and arm function is limited on both sides. Which is frustrating for him as he is so desperate to be independent and not have to ask someone to push him. James has had a test drive of a Tri-ride and flourished, it was amazing how free he looked going up and down the road grinning ear to ear. We realized this attachment could change his quality of life. Unfortunately this is expensive at £4173 with a down payment of £2000 this is more than we could ever afford. We are hoping to raise the £2000 for the down payment and finance the remainder. As the company require the down payment before they can set up finance.
We have approached lots of different charity's to help fund a try-ride but due to covid 19 they are finding it difficult to fund large items over £1000 at the moment. We are hoping to raise funds through bake sales aswell as gofundme. We would be eternally grateful for your support and help.
Edited: iv recently been informed James wheelchair wheels are not suitable for the Tri-ride and we will need to buy off-road wheels these are £300. We are hopeful we can raise this with James cake sale, this will be added to the gofundme total. X
