Last Saturday morning while you were eating breakfast on  8/23/2019 my brother Jake suffered a massive heart attack while hiking in the mountains. This specific heart attack is called the "widow maker". I can not express how happy I am that this fundraiser is not for help to bury my baby brother. The doctors have said many times he should of died since he suffered this attack 40 minutes from a hospital. Thankfully, his best friend Nate was smart enough to wave down a semi truck to radio in help since their cell phones did not have service. This saved his life. Our family plans on helping Jake financially but since he did not have health insurance (he's 29 and did not think he would have a heart attack at 29 years old) his medical bills are sky high. As of now he is still in the hospital 7 days later. He was given 2 stents to relive his 100% blockage in his LAD artery. He does not know when he can return to work. If you feel it in your heart to help Jake please do. He has a son who is 6 and a step son who is 4. If you know Jake personally you know he is the sweetest, kindest, most awkwardly hilarious person you could ever meet. If you don't want to donate please share. Seeing a cardiologist at 29 years old is not something I ever envisioned for my brother.
