My name is Imani, and I’m creating this GoFundMe because I was recently in a serious car accident where I hit a deer on the highway. I’m very grateful I walked away physically okay, but my car was completely totaled. That car was my only way to get to work opportunities, appointments, and handle my day-to-day life living on my own, and losing it so suddenly has put me in a really tough spot financially.

I’m asking for help mainly to go toward:

- Replacing my totaled car or securing reliable transportation

- Covering related costs and basic bills while I work on getting stable again

I don’t like asking for help, and I’ve been trying to push through a lot quietly, but this is bigger than what I can handle by myself. I’m honestly embarrassed to be in this position and to ask for help publicly, but I know I can’t do this alone. Any amount you’re able to give, or even just sharing this, would mean so much and would bring me one step closer to getting back on my feet.
