In the early morning of January 21, 2025, Hunter and Courtney's newborn son, Ezekiel, departed this world for heaven. Born on December 20th in Baton Rouge, LA, it was discovered that their son Ezekiel had Down Syndrome, and he was in trouble. Suffering from pulmonary hypertension, fluid overload, and several other life-threatening conditions, Ezekiel was life-flighted to Children's Hospital New Orleans. Ezekiel fought bravely and was showered with love by everyone who met him. He inspired many to pray to God on his behalf. Ezekiel spent his limited time on earth on a ventilator and machines, with his parents and extended family by his side, until Ezekiel was called home to rest.

Ezekiel's parents can use all the help they can get to manage the massive healthcare costs of Ezekiel's ICU treatment and his funeral arrangements. Let us show the light of Christ in aiding this young couple with the financial assistance they need now. One of the greatest tragedies in this life is when a parent has to bury a child.
