Help Honor My Mom’s Final Journey

My name is Veronica and I’m reaching out during one of the hardest moments of my life. My mom, Alev Bastik, has been battling 4 different stage 4 cancers including colon cancer, bone caner, and pancreatic cancer with incredible strength and grace. She’s now in palliative care, and we’ve come to the heartbreaking reality that it’s time to prepare for her final arrangements.

My mom is not only my mother—she’s been the heart of our family. She’s the one who always gave, even when she had little herself. She taught me that no matter what I have to keep on fighting even when I want to give up.

As we navigate this painful chapter, our family is facing financial strain. Funeral and memorial costs are overwhelming, and we want to ensure my mom receives the dignity and respect she deserves.
