Helping Hillbilly(Jake Erdmann) & his family

Its been a year for everyone and for Jake, Crystal and their 6 children its been harder then most years. Jake started a new job December 2019 but because of covid he was laid off March 12th. He went to work delivering ice which was hard on his back, he had a couple days off but went back to work July 15th with his back still sore, during the route his right arm went numb. It was numb most of the day so Crystal took him to the er, they did tests, mri's  etc. In one of  the pictures they stated that he had a mass on his mitral valve that was bigger then it was 4 years ago( Jake & Crystal didn't know this was there even 4 years ago) this finding made them get a referral to a cardiologist. Upon waiting for that appointment he was not able to work as his back was in horrible pain. Finally were able to get an appointment with a cardiologist at the Sanford Fargo, the doctor came to the conclusion that it was calcium build up and to come back in 6 months to do more tests. These answers didn't sit well with Jake &Crystal so they were working on getting things sent to Mayo but insrance wasn't making it easy. They finally got them sent to Essentia in Fargo, upon that doctor visit the doctor said that Jake has the mass on his mitral valve and extra stuff in his aortic valve (lack of better terms) basically its excess tissue that he believes has been breaking off causing all the problems Jake has had the last 4 years. 4 years ago he had paracardidis, last year a blood clot in his lung, and the doctor believes he had a mini stroke in July, then the Sunday after things started this year. The doctor said if this isn't taken care of sooner then later it could be Jakes life. The only way to remove the mass and extra tissue is through open heart surgery, their plan is to hopefully be able to remove them and save his valves but id they can not they will be replacing his valves. His surgery date was scheduled for 10/20/20 but the surgeon had to change it so it was changed to 10/22/20, causing Jake to not be able to work much at all as he was still dealing with his back and having to be careful for surgery, so they have been on Crystal's income mostly. On 10/17/20 their 2nd oldest Raina fell and broke her leg and had to have surgery in Fargo and can not put any weight on her leg for 6 weeks, so Crystal had to miss more work due to those appointments and any in the future. Upon heading to Fargo for Jakes surgery the nurse called and said that the surgeon wasn't feeling well and they had to reschedule for 10/27/20. Upon this surgery Jake will be in the hospital anywhere from 5 to 10 days or so, after that he will not be able to lift anything over 10 pounds or drive for at least 4 weeks, after that it will be slow going for awhile. Bills are getting tight and having a family with 6 kids its a lot of stress to keep everything going. I'm asking any all if you could help ease the financial burden until Jake is able to get back on his feet so they can focus on him healing. All prayers will be greatly appreciated also!! Thank you all!!
