Helping Hilary Hunt get back on her feet
Donation protected
As some of you know, last Friday (May 6) Hilary was kicked by a horse in the right thigh and broke her left hip socket on impact with the ground. She’s at Albany Med having surgery this morning (May 9) to place plates to repair it. She’s not sure what recovery will look like afterwards but has been told that there will be no weight bearing for 10 weeks, leaving the future of the 2022 lesson season uncertain.
As you ALL surely know, Hilary runs her 25 horse farm in addition to a full lesson program and is rarely seen sitting down. Being off of her feet for the next 2.5 months is going to be a struggle for her…. And we would like to keep that her only challenge, by raising money to support her for loss of income and the care of the school horses.
Thank you for any contribution and we all look forward to having her back in the riding ring reminding us “heels down, eyes up, shoulders back!”
Sincerely,
Friends + Family of Mountain Creek Farm
