On 12/15 John was in a terrible car accident. He suffered life threatening injuries such as a torn aorta, and bleeding in and around his brain. One of his surgeons said that 95% of people who sustain a tear to the aorta as he did, pass away quickly at the scene of the accident and never get a chance to even make it to a hospital.
He sustained a long list of broken bones including
-both femurs
-knees
-pelvis
-multiple ribs
-both shoulders
-right arm
-collar bone
John has multiple surgeries in his future and a very long road to recovery.
