Helping Heath & Alisa Get Their Home Ready

Hi, my name is Kevin Cool and I am a close friend of the Stoner Family. As many of you know, Heath suffered a major stroke in April of 2023. It has highly affected his mobility and speech. It is going to be a long road to recovery but with Heath's tenacity and God's help, he is making progress.

Since the incident in April, Heath has been an inpatient at different hospitals and rehab facilities. As they look toward going home over the next several weeks, Alisa and family need to make a few necessary renovations to accommodate Heath's wheelchair and new living arrangements. The renovations include a handicap ramp for the exterior of the house and an ADA bathroom remodel which includes moving plumbing, installing a new vanity and making the shower handicap accessible. In addition, they will also need a bed that sits lower to the ground for ease, as he continues to gain strength.
