Courtney Hays is a recently engaged mother of two living in Durango, Colorado. In October she was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of breast cancer. This cancer is very fast-acting and has already spread to her lymph nodes making the diagnosis Stage 2 (possible stage 3) Triple Negative Breast Cancer.  Courtney recently started a new job and became the primary financial caretaker for their household.

Richard and Courtney have recently spent most of their savings to give deposits to vendors for their upcoming wedding.

The long road to cancer treatment begins Friday, November 13th. Receiving a complete double mastectomy and lymphadenectomy followed by chemotherapy treatments. Due to the severity of this surgery, Courtney will not be able to return to work for AT LEAST 2 months.  This is an incredible financial burden for their family during this very stressful time.
