This raising to help my family survive, rebuild their house and for my siblings education.

As you know, within hours, two earthquakes hit Turkey and Syria, devastating homes, hospitals and schools. And strong aftershocks is destroyed the rest what was holding in the city. More than 42,000 people have been killed and from my city 22.000 people died so far and 100,000 injured. Beneath the ruins untold numbers remain buried. There are 17 million people in the affected areas and many of them are in urgent need of shelter, food, and medical aid.

My hometown Hatay, in Turkey, is in the centre of this disaster and has also been destroyed. My home is gone and my family barely survived. They are living on the street in a tent, enduring freezing conditions, just like thousands of other survivors.

I am raising funds to be sent directly to my family and organization in Hatay that are really making a difference in my home town by sourcing supplies for warmth, shelter, food and medicine, as well as being part of the rescue teams.

This fund can help my family to rebuild our home and my siblings can continue their education. 

My mom, dad, 4 sisters, 1 brother and my little niece is there. I’m a PhD student in Texas Tech University.
