On Wednesday, July 15 , there was a very bad thunderstorm that hit the Midwest area; in particular Peoria, IL.  This storm brought widespread flooding and a lot of damage to the city of Peoria.  

During this storm, one of the foundational basement walls of my parents' home collapsed.  We are very grateful that no one was hurt during the wall collapse and everyone mad it out safely.  Unfortunately due to the wall collapse, City Code Enforcement has deemed the house as uninhabitable.  My parents did have insurance with a very reputable and nationally know insurance company.  However, the insurance company has found a loophole to get out of assisting my parents with possible home repairs or relocation, either of which would be very costly to my parents. 

The goal is to be able to repair the collapsed wall and ensure all other walls are safe and secure or buy another home, whatever is safer and more cost effective.  Anyone  who knows my family, knows that my family has been through a lot over time but we are a strong family and have made it by the grace of God.
 
Any assistance that you would be able to offer, would be greatly appreciated.  We certainly can't put into words how grateful we would be.  Your acts of generosity and kindness definitely would not be soon forgotten.
