Helping the Hoffmans

Hi friends! I know many of you are used to seeing me fundraise for different causes that are close to my heart. This one is a little different because I'm fundraising for my own family this time... As many of you know, in February my mom had a spinal tumor removed and a C4 C5 laminoplasty. She spent several days in the ICU and went to rehab where she busted her butt to return home. She has spent months doing rehab in the home and outpatient, but has not been released to return to work due to nerve damage in her left arm and hand. A month ago, my youngest brother Luke was in a car accident that left him with a traumatic brain injury. He has been released home with a visiting nurse and is doing 9 therapy sessions a week to try to gain some memory, speech, and balance back. He is currently working on being able to communicate and walk again.  My mom has put her therapy on hold to be present for Luke's and to help in his recovery and care for my 5 year old nephew, Mason. The last 5 months have been a huge financial burden for my family and we do not know what the future holds for my mom or Luke.  I do not love the idea of asking for help, but I know that my family could use it so much right now.
