Helping hands for Ryan, Ashley, and baby Jude

Hi Everyone,

I am Karyn. I am Ryan and Ashley's cousin. I am doing this on their behalf to try to help out. As many of you know Ryan and Ashley welcomed baby Jude to the family on January 25th at a healthy 9 lbs 7 oz and 20.5 inches long.

Jude is a miracle baby (and the 1st in our family tree branch to carry on the last name!!). Ashley has struggled with endomitosis for years and has endured many surgeries, recoveries, and heartbreaks with the struggle of getting pregnant. The excitement was felt by everyone when we found out Ashley and Ryan were going to finally become parents!

For months they prepared. Ashley had to take off work throughout her pregnancy for the safety of her and Jude. Ryan works full-time. During the delivery Ashley experienced pre-eclampsia and had to have an emergency C-Section. Although the first hours were rough with normal post-partum things Ashley and Ryan were in awe of their precious baby and taking it all in. Shortly after Ashley starting experiencing additional issues and had to be taken into surgery again a few days after Jude was born. Jude was able to go home and Ashley had to stay. As many of you might know this is heartbreaking for new parents. They are blessed to have amazing family to step in and help out, especially Ashley's sister Malissa.

A week after his birth Ashley was able to finally go home, but had to return to the hospital via emergency squad. As we speak Ashley has been admitted to the ICU and is in surgery. Ryan is doing an amazing job being there for Ashley as well as trying to be there for their new son.

Unfortunately, this does not allow Ryan to return to work anytime soon and the household and medical bills are adding up quickly in addition to caring for a newborn baby. If you are able to contribute at all to help alleviate this burden, it would mean the world to them and the whole family. If you are unable to contribute monetarily, please say extra prayers for Ryan, Ashley and baby Jude.
