Helping hands for Lavinia

A friend of mine named Lavinia (short for Vin) at work who lives in Cebu, Philippines was diagnosed with Myeloma (Cancer in the blood) back in April 2017.  Although she was going through treatments to get better, the test results from her recent doctor visit showed an increased presence of her illness.  Her doctor advised to have the intravenous treatment from the beginning because that's what she really needs but she puts off this treatment because of how expensive it is.  The complete treatment would cost $7,000 that her and her family do not have.

Since I was a refugee in the Philippines, I figured I could give back by raising funds to help at least one person would be a good caused,   Philippines allowed us, Vietnamese, temporary stayed in their country before transferring to the third world country.  It was a generous gesture from Philippines which I would never forget.
