Helping Hands for Joy

Hello, My name is Karina. On Monday, May 28 my good friend Joy Litton had a massive stroke while her and I worked at getting our summer camp set up.. She was rushed to the emergency room and then had to be airlifted to St. Joseph’s. There she underwent emergency surgery to clear out a blockage in her carotid artery, and a clot in the brain. While under, they found a small bleed as well as an old stroke. Surgery went well and things began to look up.. Her brain then began to swell, her family had 2 choices, either insert a drain to help the swelling or do a hemicrainiotomy, with the Neuro Teams help they decided to insert the drain. It was working wonders until over night things took a turn for the worst. They had no choice but to go through with the craniotomy. Joy has made great progress and is there.. FIGHTING… being the stubborn woman she is and we all LOVE… Now.. Now we ask for your help.. Anything helps.. The bills for all she has endured are piling up.
