Hi, I’m Jess, and I’ve created this GoFundMe to support a dear friend of mine, Ashlee, and her family during an incredibly difficult time.

I’ve known Ashlee for many years, and she is truly one of the kindest, most selfless people you’ll ever meet. Recently, her world was turned upside down when her sweet baby boy, Micah, arrived much earlier than expected.

Baby Micah had plans of his own & he made his entrance at just 33 weeks. Shortly after birth, he had to be life-flighted to Nemours Children’s Hospital, where he is currently in the NICU facing a tough medical journey. He’s been struggling with breathing and feeding, and doctors are now concerned that he may be fighting an infection. This has been terrifying and overwhelming for Ashlee and her family as they continue hoping for improvement day by day.

As you can imagine, the emotional and financial strain during this time is enormous. Traveling back and forth to the hospital, missing work, and trying to stay afloat while caring for a premature baby (and their two boys at home!) in the NICU is incredibly challenging. Ashlee and her family could truly use some support right now.
