I am Rita Bellitto and this is my first venture into GoFundMe. I am taking the plunge because I have a young friend in great financial need right now due to health issues.

My daughter’s friend from college is facing a serious financial situation right now due to health issues that have severely limited her ability to work and support herself. “Megan” has a chronic disorder of her nervous system that is now so severe that she is not able to work a full-time job. Her illness disrupts the autonomic nervous system which manages all of your body system processes that you don’t think about (like heart rate, blood pressure, digestion, and breathing).

Megan has started the very long process of applying for numerous assistance programs including housing. In the near-term, she is in urgent need of some financial assistance to help pay her bills like rent, groceries and medical expenses. This will bridge the gap until she is approved for housing assistance and hopefully other types of assistance too.

I have met this woman, and my daughter knows her well. Megan is a good person experiencing a tough time. This happens to many people all the time. I assure you that your donation will make a real difference in her life. Megan is in great need of a helping hand right now, that is why I am running this campaign on her behalf.
