Helping Hand for Son's Medical Journey

First I want to say this post is so hard for me to post and something I DONT like doing..As many of you know Friday my son had his 2nd open heart surgery this year already. He went through a 14hr surgery where all valves of his heart had to be replaced he now has a mechanical valve for his mitrial and will require a permanent pacemaker. He had complications last night requiring them needing to administer CPR. He has been intubated/sedated and paralyzed since surgery.There are no words to express how we are feeling and we continue to pray that he continues to get stronger and continue to improve even though he’s taking baby steps with everything. This has been a long stay in the hospital we’ve been here 3 weeks already due to him having a catherization procedure In the beginning of the month and we got discharged the following day only to be life flighted back to the hospital. During the 3rd day of being in the hospital my job fired me due to me just going back to work after returning to work from his first surgery and not having any time available for me to take off. At the end of the day my kids will ALWAYS ALWAYS come first! And I HATE HATE HATE asking for help and will say we are okay but in reality we’re not the hospital stay has been super expensive between having to eat or go to the grocery store to get food and the gas for dad and his sisters to come see him and now not having a job and no money coming in right now is adding more stress than what we are already dealing with.
