Helping Hand For Julia Betts

Story

Hi, our names are Alison & Sara and we’ve had the absolutely amazing pleasure of knowing Julia for many years through work and a truly wonderful friendship was formed, and for many others too who have worked with her. Julia will be known to many local people as she has been a Swimming Teacher for many years starting her career at the original swimming baths in St Michaels Road, Sittingbourne. Maybe she had taught you or your children to swim here or most recently at our local Leisure Centre in Sittingbourne. Julia has been struggling recently due to ill health, so unable to work for several months and sadly unlikely to return. Obviously we, and I know many others who have approached us would love to assist Julia in any way we can, and this is why we have made a decision to set up this fundraiser to get Julia the assisted mobility she so needs (wheelchair, stairlift, home help etc) which will help with her everyday life.
