Helping Hand for Jean and Edwin

Dear Family and Friends,
It is with our deepest sorrow that we would like to inform everyone of the passing of our beloved Jean Carpio. She passed away this morning at about 07:00 AM, Monday 23rd December 2019 at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Western Australia.
As we all know, she fought a long and hard battle with Cancer this year. Sadly, her battle has come to a bitter end at the worst possible time for the family. She was surrounded by Edwin and the kids when the final moment came.
While Edwin and the three kids are grieving for the loss of a wonderful wife and a loving mother, we know that she is finally at peace and out of pain.
We would like to kindly appeal once more to everyone's good nature to help us raise funds in able for the family to give Jean the memorial she deserves to honor her memory and to say their last goodbyes.
The memorial details are to follow.
On behalf of their family, we would like to thank you for your kind support and understanding.
Yours Truly,
Elmo De Mesa

Dear Family and Friends,
Let me start with a quote by John Holmes “There is no better exercise for the heart than reaching down and picking people up.” I would like to appeal to my family, friends, colleagues and anyone who is willing to kindly help me raise funds for my good friend Edwin and his wife Jean and their three children.
Jean was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer last December of 2018 and she completed her last Chemotherapy on March. Since her diagnosis, she has suffered with pains including a persistent cough that does not go away. Recently, her liver and kidney started to fail. She is currently undergoing further treatment for her new diagnosis. Jean, who is a strong woman with a loving heart, is trying her best to stay strong for Edwin and her children. Please pray for her strength to continue as she battles on.
Cancer is a costly disease. When it happens it does not only affect the individual but affects the whole family. It costs time; time that Edwin’s family can’t get back. Time that Jean uses for healing and medication means that the precious time she should be spending with her children and Edwin is taken away from her. It costs emotional distress. Watching someone you love suffer in pain, in front of you while there is nothing you can do to stop it is truly heartbreaking.
Lastly, it is also financially crippling. I have taken the initiative on their behalf to appeal to your good hearts that you may be so kind to offer Edwin and his family some financial support to help them cover the cost of Jean’s accumulating hospital and medical expenses. Any amount you can offer would mean a lot to them and be much appreciated.
Let’s help Jean and her family to keep going and never lose heart as they face their endeavors. May they embrace pain and burn it as fuel to their very challenging journey.
Sincerely,
Elmo De Mesa
