He is a friend to many, 2 and 4 legged. He is a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and as we all know an AWESOME dog trainer. He has helped frantic dog owners that have tried other trainers that simply didn't work and educated the owner at a fraction of the cost that the previous trainer charged. In Jorge's words "I have never met a stranger," he has proved this by never judging an individual and offering a helping hand and a loving heart to many, 2 and 4 legged.
Jorge's passion and trade has been training dogs and educating families for years. With the current situation of the COVID19 Pandemic, Jorge had to suspend his training programs.
Jorge needs our help. He is facing a medical battle and currently doesn't have medical insurance. Jorge has been diagnosed with probable lung and liver cancer. Jorge is 4 months away from receiving Medicare. He has a medical advocate currently working for him to receive emergency Medicaid or receiving his Medicare early due to the cost of upcoming tests and treatment. His 1st visit will be to a pulmonologist which is $250 for an office visit, no testing just a visit. At this visit a biopsy will be scheduled to confirm the cancer and then a Petscan to determine what stage the cancer is in for treatment.
Jorge has also rented his home in Titusville for the past 5 years. Jorge has been given notice from the landlord that he is putting the home up for sale soon. Unfortunately with Jorge's current situation he doesn't qualify for a home loan. It would be great if Jorge could find someone that buys homes where Jorge could continue to pay a monthly payment and not have to pack up and move with his dogs at the time when he will also be hopefully in treatments fighting the cancer.
I started this fundraiser with a goal of $3,000. I don't know currently what costs will be involved for Jorge but I thought it was a good starting point.
