About Haley Bates
Haley is first and foremost a Christ follower, a sinner saved by God’s Grace! She lives in Poteet, Texas with her husband Josh, who is a Fire Fighter. They have 3 children, Hallie Grace, Jacob & Caleb who are beautiful on the inside and out. Haley is a homeschooling momma and owns BELOdesigns Jewelry, where she makes hand stamped jewelry that is designed to honor God and remind us of God’s love and what is truly important in life.
She is passionate about the restoration the Lord can do in the hearts of women and marriages.
The above passage was taken from a prayer devotional she wrote in the beginning months of her illness, “She Does Him Good!”
In October 2014 Haley began having flu like symptoms for weeks; little did she know she was in for the battle for her life. In Nov. 2016, after many doctors, misdiagnosis and thousands of dollars Haley tested positive for Lyme disease. Her friends and family were so relieved that she had a diagnosis and now she could be treated. This is a common misconception. Lyme disease is extremely difficult to treat, and what works for one person does not work for another. Haley’s symptoms are painful, debilitating and too many to list or for her to explain. She has had to close her business and move out of her much loved home due to her weakened immune system.
Please help us raise money for Haley’s treatment. Your donations will be used for medical bills already accumulated, going to Hansa Center for treatment, future medical bills, and getting her and her family back to a livable space for them.  It will be a long journey, but we know all things are possible with God.
