Helping Haiti Rebuild after 7.0 Earthquake
Hi, my name is Landy and I am helping raise funds to send to families affected by the recent and devastating 7.0 earthquake that hit Haiti, and more specifically the town of Anse-a-Veau where my family grew up and where some of them still reside. Many of their homes have completely collapsed leaving them with little to nothing but rubble. Personally, I still have family in this town that saw most of their home lost as well as many of their neighbors. Just a few days later a tropical storm went through the island bringing even more destruction. As you can imagine the needs are endless to help the countless injured, help families with people who were killed in the tragedy, and start cleaning and rebuilding the communities. Anything you can give will go directly to these families and supply them with essential and immediate needs. The devastation is immeasurable and anything we and you can do to help is so needed and appreciated. Haiti is a country where little is done by the government to help when there is an emergency such as this and anything we can do is more than many of these families would expect. My love and gratitude for anything you can give to help support the efforts to help.
