I'm creating this fundraiser on behalf of our family’s beloved daycare teacher, Ms. Hailey. I am deeply grateful for the role she has played in the lives of my children. With the wholehearted support from the daycare, I am hopeful we can rally for Hailey in a time of great need.

As you may have heard, she recently underwent an unexpected and major surgery that will change her life forever, and prevent her from returning to work for the foreseeable future. While it is a relief that she is on the road to recovery, her healing journey will take time - likely several weeks, if not months. In addition, she may need adjustments to her home and daily living environment to ensure her safety and independence. Although she has health insurance, there will be significant out-of-pocket medical expenses, along with the financial strain of lost income while she is unable to work.

I don't think it's possible to fully express what Ms. Hailey has meant to our family. Her warmth, fun spirit, patience, and genuine love for each and every child has shaped their early years in ways that truly matter. She greets each child with joy, comforts them with tenderness, and celebrates their milestones as if they were her own. That kind of heart cannot be taught - it's who she is. As another parent recognized, Hailey is a fairy godmother to so many kids.

Hailey could use the same care and support she gives inherently every day. If you feel compelled to give, any contribution — no matter the size — will help ease the burden during this challenging season and allow Ms. Hailey to focus fully on her recovery.
