Hi everyone, my name is Osman Carranza (Oz).
I want to thank you very much for taking the time to read this message.
The Storms Eta and Iota affected many cities in Guatemala with heavy rain and winds including my hometown, Morales Izabal.
My family sent me videos and pictures of how many families were affected by the strong winds and flooding and it has left a lot of my close relatives, friends and other families with nearly nothing and no place to live.
I want to personally reach out to ask for any help or donations to send back home to Guatemala.
No donation is too small to make a difference. We understand if it's not possible for you to donate at this moment, but it would be equally helpful if you could kindly, share this story with friends and family.
***We figured $1000-$1500 can help 1 family. And the more we raise, the more families we can help out.
This amount will help 1 family with:
- Rent for Temporary housing for at least 3 months
- Personal necessities (i.e. food, water, masks, clothing, first aid kits, and medical care, etc.)
- 2 Beds (including bedsheets, pillows, and pillow cases.)
- A few small appliances (i.e. stoves, microwaves, small fridges, etc.)
I will link other videos to the one in youtube of everything we get accomplish showing the families and the way we got to help them.
It's been extremly tough for those families and I know your help would mean a lot to them. We would like to help as many families as we can, that’s why any help we can get counts.
