Please Help Support Grant's Recovery ❤️
As many of you now know, Grant was involved in a serious accident during qualifying at the Southern 100. He has since been transferred to Aintree Hospital, where he is receiving specialist care after suffering multiple broken bones. After losing alot of blood and having a blood transfusion, he is due to undergo surgery on his ribs, and we're hoping that afterwards the doctors will be able to bring him out of sedation so we can better understand the road ahead. We still are awaiting to see what else is broken but the first priority is stabilising his ribs.
The support we've received has been overwhelming. We'd like to thank the medics and marshals at the Southern 100 Road Races, the incredible teams at Noble's Hospital, Manx Care and Aintree Hospital, and every single person who has sent messages, prayers and words of encouragement. We are truly grateful.
Many people have asked how they can help. While Grant's recovery is our only focus right now, it will undoubtedly be a long journey.
At the moment we still dont have the full picture on full impact of his injuries and taking a day at a time.
We've set up this GoFundMe so that Grant can concentrate on healing without the added worry of the financial burden ahead.
If you're able to donate, no matter how big or small, we would be incredibly grateful. If you can't donate, simply sharing this fundraiser would mean the world to us and help us reach more people.
Thank you for standing with Grant. Your kindness, generosity and support are giving us strength during the hardest time of our lives.
We'll continue to keep everyone updated as soon as we know more after surgery.
