Helping Grandpa Kenny
Hey everyone!
My name is Jesse Webber.
Most of you know may or may not know me from my musical endeavors in, and around, the Kitchener Waterloo music scene.
I am also known by few as loving partner, dad, son, brother, cousin, uncle.. but most importantly in this case: Grand son.
Before reading anymore forward please note and respect that for the sake of his pride and dignity, I am trying to do this as low key as possible. Ken is a very old school, proud man. Please respect that before donating!
A few weeks ago, we found out that our beloved Grandfather, Ken, has been diagnosed with Stage 3 lung cancer.
We are currently at the beginning of a six week chemo and radiation treatment plan that could potentially add up to 10 years of his life if treated properly and immediately.
Ken is an incredibly supportive and strong care giver to the matriarch of the Webber family, Grandma Betty.
Since finding this out, we have realized that there are a bunch of expenses that aren't covered under their insurance plan. One of them being a portable oxygen distribution machine.
Grandpa Ken currently has to carry about 3 oxygen tanks around a day just to get to and from his doctors appointments as well as his Chemo and radiation treatments.
What I'm proposing is a friendly donation, if possible to help fund a belt clip machine that charges and distributes oxygen more regularly, easier and less heavily.
The Webber family prides themselves on helping others in our community and beyond. We built our name on it, and now we are asking you for a bit of help.
Thank you in advance to anyone who donates, and please respect Ken's dignity and privacy as we all undergo this massive task together.
Much love,
Jesse and The Webber Family
