Helping Grandma rebuild after the fire

On Friday morning a fire broke out at my Grandmother, Louise LaFlammes home on Hilltop rd in dracut. My Grandmother was rushed to Lowell General by ambulance and then to Mass General Hospital by helicopter, and was in the ICU burn unit. My father, David LaFlamme, was also living in the home, and has lost everything. 

Unfortunately, she wasn’t able to overcome the smoke damage to her airways. Grandma passed away Sunday evening.

Although the homeowners insurances will, hopefully, cover rebuilding the home, we are nervous about what other bills may come about. My father lost all of his belongs, including the necessary equipment for him to continue to work. We are now responsible for ensuring that the mortgage and other associated expenses on the home are covered.

My dad is currently staying in my apartment, in the living room. We don't have much room so, clothing donations would be overwhelming for us, right now. Once he gets settled somewhere, it may be an option. For now we took him shopping to get the basics, and will have to build from there.

Between the medical expenses, funeral expenses and rebuilding a life from scratch we expect things to be very tough for a little while. Thank you for any and all support, any help is greatly appreciated.
