Helping Gloria and Blay-was in this time of need

Hi my name is Gloria. I'm a hard working mother of a beautiful 3year old boy.

I woke up to pounding at my door 1:30am last night ( 8/14 ). It was my neighbor telling me that my car was set on fire and the fire department had to come put it out.

I was so shocked by what they just told me. Are you sure? My car? All I could think was, who? What? Why? At this point the fire department had left so I couldn't ask them questions right away.

My car was intentionally set on fire.

My car is my livelihood, my everyday support system. This is how I get my son to and from daycare. Then me to and from work.

I don't have a savings with enough to replace my car. I have about 500 for emergencies, thank God I have that for a start.

I feel extremely vulnerable sharing this and asking for help, but i know that this time i cant do this bymyself. I can get through this with compassion and support from my family,

friends and community.
